Privacy Statement
We value your privacy. We do not sell, give away, or otherwise distribute
your personal information in any way. If you use a credit card to pay for your
order, it is on a secure server which is linked to our merchant account. The
receipt that is sent to me does not contain your credit card number. Your address
will only be used to send your products. Your email will only be used to correspond
with you about your order, to allow the delivery company to correspond with
you about delivery of your package, or to keep you informed about updates.
Newsletter contact is once or twice per month. You can opt-in to the newsletter by logging into your account and opting in, or if you have not ordered before but wish
to be contacted for future sales there is a sign up box on the outer menu. There
is also an option to ask us to sign you up when you enter our monthly contests
(which is the only time that we sign anyone up directly). This website utilizes
cookies to keep track of what you put in your shopping cart. Should you have
cookies disabled it can use your IP address instead. We do not collect personal
information for any other purpose other than what is stated.
A Note About Cookies
This site utilizes friendly cookies. It may also, at time, utilize cookies
from Overture and/or Google to let us know if our advertising is cost effective.
These cookies are only set if you've entered our site through one of
their search inquiries. They don't tell us, or the search service anything
other than how you came to find us, and did you make a purchase.
128 bit security: If you receive a message that your browser is not compatible
with 128 bit encryption, please don't panic. While this isn't
the norm, it's not uncommon either. Payment processors are moving towards
requiring 128 bit encryption in customer browsers as another security measure.
Our payment processor has always been very proactive in the stringency of their
security measures. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but
would rather your data be kept under the tighest security possible. Your browser
can be upgraded to 128 bit security by visiting the download site for your browser
software provider (ie. Microsoft or Netscape – but we really recommend
Mozilla Firefox).
AOL Email Problems
AOL refuses to deliver server-originated emails. They do this to thousands
of small businesses by blocking entire blocks of IP addresses they feel "might"
send spam - in essence convicting merchants without evidence - and it is also
censoring of your email. If you use AOL, please use one of the many, reputable,
free email services to acquire an email address that you can use to shop with
(not just for us, but in general it's a good idea anyhow - we recommend
VFEmail). If you use your AOL email account,
you may not receive your receipt, shipping notification or any other emails
generated by your purchase. |
